On behalf of the Board of Directors of MBSB (“Board”), Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new MBSB Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRP has been fixed today (“Price Fixing Date”) at RM0.56 per new MBSB Share. The issue price is fixed based on the 5-day volume weighted average market price (“VWAMP”) of MBSB Shares of RM0.6339 up to and including 16 June 2021, being the last trading day prior to the Price Fixing Date for the issue price of the new MBSB Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRP after adjusting for the following:

(i) a dividend adjustment of RM0.02 to the 5-day VWAMP of MBSB Shares (“Ex-Dividend VWAMP”); and

(ii) a discount of RM0.0539, which is approximately 8.8% discount to the Ex-Dividend VWAMP of RM0.6139.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB also wishes to announce that the book closure date for the final dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2020 and the DRP has been fixed on 1 July 2021.

The DRP Statement and Notice of Election (including the Dividend Reinvestment Form) will be provided to all the entitled shareholders of MBSB (save for the foreign addressed shareholders of MBSB) on 5 July 2021 and the election period for the DRP will close on 19 July 2021.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new MBSB Shares arising from the DRP will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 2 August 2021. This announcement is dated 17 June 2021.
