MBSB has formalised a strategic bancassurance distribution partnership arrangement with Amlife Insurance Berhad (Amlife). Through this distribution partnership, MBSB will be marketing and promoting Bijak Malaysia. A regular premium whole life insurance plan that guarantees triennial cash plan and maturity benefits with affordable monthly premiums.
Bijak Malaysia is a popular product, first developed and introduced in 2007 by National Insurance Association of Malaysia, as a national insurance programme specially catered to meet the needs of Malaysians who require complete yet affordable life coverage for family security.
As opposed to typical life insurance plans where one has to provide comprehensive personal information before being covered, Bijak Malaysia requires minimal policyholder information along with a completed health declaration form for one to get started, while there are four different monthly premium packages, ranging from RM100, RM200, RM300 and RM500 with flexibility to buy multiple policies.
