Privileges of Bank Islam MBSB Card

FREE Group Family Takaful Coverage and Benevolence Expenses.

Bank Islam Card provides FREE Group Family Takaful Coverage and Benevolence Expenses of RM1,000 for cardholders for the contract of period. As comparisons, with other conventional credit card cardholders have to pay RM300 per annum for RM 10,000 coverage. No medical check up is required for this coverage.

No compounding interest.

For Bank Islam MBSB cardholders no compounding interest is imposed like any other conventional credit card. With this, Bank Islam MBSB cardholders can enjoy a saving of 1.6% per annum on the profit charges.

Competitive Cash Withdrawal Fee.*

Cash withdrawal fee of RM 12 for every RM1,000 or part thereof performed at Bank Islam's ATM, while other conventional credit card is charging 3% of the withdrawal amount or RM 50 (whichever is higher). Cardholder can make cash withdrawal up to 50% of financing limit.

Transfer balance facility.*

Cardholders are given minimum 20 days grace period with FREE profit charges. Each successful transfer balance request (regardless of amount), will be charge a service fee of RM 6.20 subject to the amount to be transferred is within the available financing limit.

Qardhul-Hasan.*

Qardhul Hasan is the over limit amount used by the cardholders. Bank Islam MBSB cardholders will not be levied with any profit charged, but is required to settle the whole over limit amount within the specified period.
